So my amazingly wonderful best friend, Abby, got us tickets to see two YouTubers we really like, Kian and JC as a graduation present! So earlier this month, my mom, sister, Abby, traveled to Atlanta for the show! She also snagged some meet and greet tickets so we got to meet them and get a picture! OH and get a copy of their new book, Don’t Try This At Home! (wink wink).
It was SO hot in Atlanta, like I was melting after ten minutes of waiting outside. They even started giving out cups of water it was so hot. We only waited about an hour before they started letting people in. While we were waiting, one of the guys’ friends, Dom was playing DJ and playing a bunch of music. It was so loud and I had a headache but I was going with the flow and just trying to focus on meeting the guys! We even got a picture with Dom and he was really cool and chill. We finally got up to meet the guys and it was actually pretty nerve-wracking! Like, I got really nervous all in like five minutes. But then we met them, a guy took pictures with our phones (and took 38 burst photos on mine woah) and we talked to them for literally like a second. It was kinda rushed but also kinda expected. I looked at JC and told him to have a good rest of the day and he smiled and said “Thanks, you too” so that was a plus!
The show was great! It was so hot, we stood close to the stage so people were pushing and screaming so that was a bit annoying but again. Just tried to focus on the guys. The guys were so funny and great with the crowd, the crowd was responsive, and overall it was just a fun time! It was cool to see them in real life rather than just our laptop screens.
After the show, we went back to the hotel, ate some quick food, and then went straight to bed. It was a long, hot day! Then we traveled all the way back home the next morning, after a stop at Waffle House of course! We both read the book on the way home, which is filled with fun stories and cool pictures so you should check it out!
I’m so blessed and thankful that I got to have this opportunity and that I could experience it with my best friend! I’ll always have this great memory and now it’s documented so we can look back on it! Thank you so much Abby!
