Hey guys! I’m back with the third day in our big ole’ Disney trip! If you missed the first two days, here’s the Magic Kingdom and the Animal Kingdom! On this day one our way to EPCOT, we started off by eating at Chef Mickey’s! We ate their on our first trip when we were little and it was a must-do again for pretty much all of us! It’s character dining so while we ate breakfast, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, and Goofy came and said hello! It was such a great start to our day!
Those are some of my favorite pictures from the trip!
We then hopped on the monorail to go to EPCOT- Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow! My mom is from Florida and lived in Orlando for awhile She says she remembers seeing the construction for EPCOT when she lived there! I always think that’s so cool!
I then showed my family Soarin’! I had been on it once when I went with Abby and had been talking this ride up because I loved it so much! They loved it too and I was really excited. After that we rode the Finding Nemo ride and walked through the aquarium. I saw four dolphins and got so excited!! I love dolphins! They also did a feeding while we were there so there was a lot of fish near the glass! My sister and I have a picture somewhere of us in front of the Nemo statues from when we were little!
By this time, we were already sweating our brains out and kinda hungry! It’s really amazing how these Mickey pretzels can hit the spot! We also got visited by this cute duck who was not afraid of people. Something tells me he’s used to getting some snacks himself! This is not the last time we made a friend with a duck that day!
We then met a slew of fun friends! Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, Baymax and then Alice! We started out journey through the world showcase, stopping in Canada for awhile to see the 360 vision show with Martin Short! It was pretty cool. Then we quickly traveled across the pond to meet Alice, one of my favorites! Alice in Wonderland was one of my favorite cartoons growing up so I was really excited! And then we meet our other duck friend. My dad had taken a seat against the fence while we waited in line. He felt a tapping on his back and it was this duck! It kept tapping on his back until my dad would turn around! Then, if he turned back around, the duck would tap again! It was pretty funny!
After the PIXAR Short Film Festival, we traveled on to Japan where we saw some amazing traditional drummers (there was a name I think but I can’t remember it ugh) and we had dinner!
One thing my sister really wanted to do (and I really wanted to do with her!) was meet Anna and Elsa! We both love to watch that movie together and I think we relate to it because we ARE sisters! It was really cool and they definitely picked up on the sister thing! Elsa told me I must have the ice powers and Serena must have the chocolate eating powers (which if you know us is pretty much accurate)! And Anna said she really liked my hair ;)!
To end the night, we headed over to one of my parents’ and my favorite rides, Test Track! They redone it since the last time I rode with my parents back in 2004! SO it was a new experience as a family! We loved it (except for my sister, not her fave)! We also HAD to ride Spaceship Earth (the big golf ball) before we left! It’s not a complete trip to EPCOT without a ride on Spaceship Earth! I thought this ride was boring as a kid but now I think it’s one of my favorites.
That concludes day 3! What country do you most want to visit in the world!? Let me know!
xoxo Ariana
