*door creaks open* *whisper* “Is anyone still here?”

If you are, I commend you! I deeply apologize for going MIA. I’ve missed my little blog so much and I really have been wanting to step up my blogging game. Y’all, I’m gonna be real with you in this post. I just figured you deserve an update on where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to lately!

Jean Jacket from Forever 21; Absolutely love it, best money ever spent!

School

Y’all. This semester is kicking my butt. I was unaware of how frontloaded this semester would be in my program! Basically, that means most of my work and big assignments are due now through March and the beginning of April instead of the end of the semester. I mean, we hit the ground RUNNING in January with clinical assignments and our big portfolio, capstone project. But, it’s all good! I’m managing it (miraculously) pretty well!

Another huge aspect of school is that I’ve been assigned to my clinical classroom and teacher that I will be student teaching with in the fall! So right now, I go one full day a week to be in her classroom to fulfill my assignments and help her as much as possible. I got so lucky (praise God!) because my mentor teacher is absolutely amazing! I’m excited for the upcoming year and getting my career started!

Best Friend’s Wedding

If you’ve been following me for awhile, then surely you know Abby (meet her here if you don’t know her! She’s awesome!). This girl is my best friend!! Last year, she got engaged to the love of her life and is getting married this spring! So I have been SUPER busy with helping her lately and getting things ready for the big day!

Old picture from 2014 or 2915 but I love it so much!

Church

Lately, I have been wanting to get involved with some Bible studies. I hate that I waited until my senior year to get involved with Delight, a college women’s ministry, but I love it so far! I went to the For The Girl tour event with my friend Jenna (which was AMAZING and exactly what I needed). They had a stop at UNCC and it was being led by the Delight founders, Mac and Kenz! I also went to my first actual Delight meeting and to say the least, I can’t wait to get more involved. As we grow older, it’s so important to find a support system and friends that can help you when you fall and are there to encourage you when you’re struggling. It’s amazing to see so many girls come together and open up to share God’s word, glory, and how He is working in our lives!

Along with that, at my home church, my friend Jenna has facilitated a new young adult life group for people who are in college or their twenties! We’ve never had anything for that age group specifically (that I’m aware of) and we felt like there was something missing. We had our first meeting this week and it went so well! So, I’m also excited for that to flourish and grow!

Meet Jenna, the sweetest girl ever! You can tell how much fun I had from the squinty eyes haha!!

Yep, so that’s what I’ve been up to lately! I’m trying to plan in my head some posts so that I don’t leave y’all hanging again! I’m gonna be better, I PROMISE!

What have you been up to?

xoxo Ariana

  2. How did I not know you went to UNCC?!? I’m actually looking to transfer in the fall and it’s one of my top 3 schools. And I follow Delight Ministries and saw they had one on-campus at Charlotte! Such a small world 🙂
